The Creative Industries journey began in 1965 on the dining table of a housewife who sought to put her creative talent into manufacturing products which at the time were not readily available on the local market. She started with baby clothes and cotton baby diapers. She was joined by her husband who helped to establish the business and took care of the accounting and logistics.  In time their son joined the team, and now manages the day-to-day operations, supported by his sons bringing fresh ideas and new paths to growth.

The business evolved through many stages, (including stuffed animals, car-seat covers, florist supplies, air fresheners) but it was in 1994 that we began to focus on pillows and bed linen. 

Production and sales began firstly with shredded foam pillows, but as we strove for higher quality products we started to carefully research hypo-allergenic polyester fiber. The first simple processing machine was purchased in 1997, with the assistance of close friends, this was upgraded with a far more efficient processing system in 2002, as well as a forklift to move the heavy pallets of raw material.

In 2006, the pillow brand became “SLEEPYTIME” with a complete redesigned label and further upgrades in cloth and fiberfill.

The constant researching for ways to improve our products, has played an important role in raising the bar of comfort and made us open to pursuing other avenues in the hospitality industry. In the year 2015 we introduced ZZZ, another brand of pillows and by 2018 we had ventured into hotel amenities with our own brand, ALAYA as well as high quality sheets and pillowcases.

The year 2020 brought new challenges of unprecedented nature as the world faced a situation that changed the way we look at life and the way we do business, but thankfully it also represented a new decade with new opportunities, and for us that not only meant adding items such as bath linens and retail soaps, but also pushing our “Creative side” with VectR our new visualization service.

 
2021, another year, another idea. Leaning into our experience as a manufacturer, we bought our first machine to produce – of all things – PAPER STRAWS. We have since added two more machines with the capacity of producing 500,000 straws per day.

In 2023, we added another “Creative” element as we started Ezypromo, specializing in assisting our many existing and prospective customer in unique marketing, brand enhancement and brand recognition needs by providing unique branded items of all types.

Thus; it has been a long journey of continuous improvement, founded on a culture of caring, professionalism and attention to detail. This is seen in each member of our team who is committed to the sole purpose of giving our customers excellent service, products, and every reason to return.
